What are the legal consequences of posting false information about cooperation?

What are the consequences if a company places on its website in the section "Trust us", "Cooperate with us", etc. logos and names of companies that have no idea about the existence of this company? And if this is done with companies that do not have representative offices in Russia?

From a legal point of view, there are no risks, even if the logo of this company on your site somehow harms the activity, creates reputational risks or violates copyright, you will first be notified of the need to remove the material, and only then, in case of your refusal, they will go to court in order to compensate for the damage. The amount of which I cannot imagine commensurate costs and / or meaningful to be required from a company that allows itself this kind of promotion.
The real risk lies in the irreparable harm to your karma and the inability to answer in the end to yourself the question “Have I lived an honest life?”

Askhat generally answered the question directly. I'll add a little.
It won't bring anything on its own. Maximum - the Court will oblige to remove and write a refutation.
By the way, in the Russian Federation (I'm only talking about the Russian Federation now - the situation is completely different abroad) it is not at all necessary for this company to notice something and file it with the Court. No representatives - it doesn't matter, this can be done by a private person or the Prosecutor's Office (well, here's the Ponosov case right off the bat - the owner is not opposed to using it, and there is representation, but the Court is fucked - "guilty").
However! If suddenly someone files a lawsuit against you, for example, for the supply of something gray or something of poor quality - this can be considered by the Court as preparation of a crime (we are talking about the Criminal Code).
