I am new to the front and in an attempt to make my life easier I found the popular Wordpress CMS. As I understand it, you can do anything on it, the main thing is that the hands are from the right place. Unfortunately, I still don’t quite understand how to do this and what is the real limit of CMS capabilities, if, for example, I need to develop a large service.
As a result of reading hundreds of articles and forums, I am faced with a difficult (at least for me - a beginner) choice - to learn wordpress or php. Please tell me what to choose and what opportunities will be on wordpress when implementing projects of varying complexity. With each new article, there is more and more information and I start to get confused) so I count on your understanding)

On WordPress, 10 verified plugins are enough for you to make a good blog. I bought a theme, installed plugins, and use it.

You need to learn both Wordpress and PHP.
