What are the distributions called?

Is there such a distribution with the ability to select the packages to be installed during installation?
I heard somewhere that lubuntu is lightweight and there are no extra packages during installation, but I still had to remove everything I didn’t need, so don’t offer lubuntu

you can choose which packages to install in any distribution. Discover the expert installation mode, it is enabled in each installer in its own way, but all this is described in the documentation.
Still sometimes the minimal installation mode is useful - you get a minimal working system. This is exactly how centos, debian, ubunta server can do ....

Suddenly - centos :) When installing, it launches an ugly graphical installer in which you can first select a group of packages, and inside the group - the packages to be installed.
FreeBSD can also do this - but there is a console installer, with TUI, you can choose only if the distribution is complete and very inconvenient.
