What are the books on creating graphic effects in games?
Prompt books in which algorithms of creation of graphic effects are described. Interested in basic techniques for using alpha blending, color manipulation (filters). How to create light, reflection and highlights of light and what textures to use for this? How to do normal/bump/parallax mapping? I'm not interested in super-realistic implementation of effects, but in how such things were done 10 - 20 years ago.
