What are the benefits of installing Jailbreak for iPad?

Hello!
I thought about the possibility of using the iPad 2 as an access point, as it turned out, this functionality is present only in the new iPad, for version 2 it was not done as usual (for sure, this problem is somehow related to the fact that if Apple adds such functionality to older devices, Jobs will merge karma for everyone). I don’t see the point in buying a new iPad for this feature (I don’t see a difference between the retina and my display, the rest of the pluses are not significant), but as it turned out, if you jailbreak, you can download a special utility that will solve my problem. After reading the relevant information on the Internet, I realized that with a jail there is a possibility of a decrease in battery life and the acquisition of brakes (is this true? And are these all disadvantages?), So I would like to know what other benefits the jail brings (I buy applications, although the ability to try the application before buying looks good, but this is also not a significant reason), let's say some applications, or some useful tweaks that expand the system's capabilities (like an access point, or an extension of the notification center). I would be very grateful to all who replied, thank you.

I was also afraid to jailbreak (new Ipad) because of the possible appearance of glitches and reduced work time. But I decided to try. For me, the main motivator to jailbreak was Xbmc, a universal media combine that allows you to play almost any video (including fullhd in mkv) from a network drive and other sources. If you do not mindlessly put all the tweaks in a row, then you most likely will not have any problems. I have several small tweaks and have not noticed any slowdowns in work, glitches or a reduction in work time. Another plus is the ability to test the program before buying. If I like it, I buy it (this way I found a bunch of useful applications that I would never have bought before).
As I wrote, I have a few tweaks:
Tab+ (unlimited tabs in Safari)
Nitrous (new faster Javascript engine for third-party apps)
Screen Dimmer (dims the screen but doesn't lock the iPad. Useful when an app takes a long time (like downloading a file) but saves battery ).
Xbmc
+ some more that I can't remember.
Try it. If you don't like it, you can always roll back easily.

What for? I will write you my experience. I recently switched to a Ukrainian account and was able to normally and safely buy software on my account. Imagine my surprise that you can’t buy and, if it doesn’t fit, then return it. Well, or stupidly demo-mod. I mean, I bought everything. And how can I know if I need this application for 19.99 or for 6.99 it does everything exactly the same? Therefore, I download new or interesting programs from trackers, install (osx, ios), test, and if it suits me, then only I buy it.
For slag in aptors is a dime a dozen.
I also use Activator for iPhone. Bindyu them switching the volume when the screen is off as a transition to the next / previous. track in the player + quick access to the lantern.

Can't create an access point from the second iPad? Hmm, I create an access point on the iPhone 3G just thanks to the jailbreak. And of course SBSettings and iFile.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
