What are the advantages of Ubuntu over other popular Linux distributions?

I decided to install Linux on one of my laptops and now I'm thinking of installing Ubuntu, probably. Still, many people prefer Ubuntu to other distributions. Of course, I understand that for some programs on the Internet there is no .rpm version, much less any binary version for archlinux, for example. So, are there any other advantages of Ubuntu over other Linux distributions?

The above arguments are of course important, but for me the weight is completely different. Debian, as a more orthodox distribution, will not include closed source code. But Ubuntu is not so categorical and is ready to download proprietary programs out of the box. This allows you to include drivers without disclosing their code (it is clear that in Debian you can achieve the same effect, only you have to do it all by hand). And the rest of Ubuntu is trying to be friendlier and easier for unprepared users.
Of course, you can put Ubuntu on a laptop for testing, but you need to understand that support for laptop hardware is still bad there (compared to Windows) and even worse than with desktop hardware (compared to the same Ubuntu).

1) Popularity. Almost all the necessary software is available under the Ubuntu LTS release. A large community, although this is a controversial advantage: the average level of such a community naturally falls. On the forums of some Gentoo, the signal-to-noise ratio is higher, and stupid questions like "I'm too lazy to search in Google and understand something, do everything for me" - less
2) The mechanism of ppa-repositories. Greatly simplifies the issue of adding a repository for the desired software
