What are the advantages of paid mail services over your own?

There was a need to send a large number of letters. Previously, mailing was via Yandex smtp, but recently it began to block sending due to the large volume.
Now there are two options: set up your mail server or use paid services.
Explain, please, than paid services are better? I read on the Toaster that even if everything is set up correctly on my own, all the same, letters will end up in spam. Why?

Because there are whitelists of trusted mail servers.
PS Large companies can exchange them, and you can only get into them through the bed (but this is not accurate)

I use yahoo and gmail. There is no blocking of outgoing emails due to spam. Both services are free. But there is also a paid version. There are mobile apps. There are temporary addresses if you are afraid that the site where you register will send spam.

Letters can end up in spam anyway, no matter what server you send it from. For example, because the admin has a bad mood in the morning. There are no criteria for evaluating spam - and everyone, as he wants, is perverted.

1. You need your own server.
2. Providers either do not give access to the 25th port at all, or set severe restrictions.
