What are some quick ways to create a LowPoly architecture model?
Good day.
I know 3ds max very well, but I still model for a long time, so I decided to ask if there are any other ways (faster) to create low poly buildings!
I usually model a primitive box according to the shape of the building, cut windows, doors, foundations according to proportions and scales. Well, then I start to draw textures and put them on the box!
But this method is quite time consuming, especially when making textures from a photo.
It took me about 4 hours to create this small building. This time includes the creation of the model and the creation of textures.
And this despite the fact that I did only the facade and side parts of the building :(
I also know about modular modeling, but making modular buildings from real buildings will be even more expensive, since the buildings are not particularly repeated.
Maybe someone knows some other quick ways to create low poles, otherwise you don’t want to spend half a day on one simple model! Maybe there is some kind of scheme for preparing to start creating a model that will speed up the process in the future? The quality of the models is not particularly cool, so + - games of 2005
