I would not recommend not touching Asp.net MVC4, from which I started to learn all this myself - everyone is already switching to asp.net core, etc., which should work even under Linux.
I taught according to two official manuals - on creating an online catalog of disks and some simple online book store chtoli.
As an idea for a start, I can suggest, for example, writing a simple asp.net web bookkeeping, for example, I got something like this that I still use - https://mycheque.info (ssl certificate is rotten, there is no time to update :( ),
I can even try to find my TK.
Try to disassemble it and understand how it is built, but for consultations it’s better in a personal,
But to be honest - I got tired of waiting for asp.net mvc 5 and switched to ruby on rails with the transition to the hostmaster position.
