Is it possible to take macbook pro 13 for c# and .net?

I really liked the macbook because of the build quality and OSx.
I am programming in c#. Can I program comfortably using a macbook?
Or do not bother and buy MS surface book?

In principle, it is possible, but on Windows it is more comfortable. I tried to write purely out of interest under the poppy and mac os on Asp.Net (which is not yet core), Xamarin, .Net Core - it’s not even bad on VS for mac, but there is also Rider. But again, Visual Studio under Windows is much more convenient for me personally.

You can, now .NET Core will rule the ball, and it has native support for OS X.
On the other hand, many different development tools are also available there, for example, Visual Studio for Mac, Visual Studio Code, JetBrains Rider, as well as hundreds of other technologies for other languages.

Take it, you won't regret it. I have a macbook 17 "2009 - I still can't find a reason to buy a new one :(, I just changed the battery recently.
Although I carry it a lot and I'm not at all neat. Indestructible assembly.

.NET, as far as I remember, is a child of Microsoft and the native system for .Net is still Windows. It will be a little uncomfortable to work on a poppy, since the system is not native.

As Microsoft Russia explained to me when I was in their office, the MacBook Pro is the most reliable machine for Windows. There are several reasons for this, including hardware and support / firewood. I was surprised by the answer, it's true, however, they simply confirmed what I myself have been observing for a long time: Windows plows perfectly. I have been using a bunch of macbook + windows for more than 10 years, I have changed three devices. Everything is great.
