What are some good modern books (textbooks) on networking, tcpip stack?
I mean that everything should be explained in detail, but without deepening into obsolete and
currently unused technologies, i.e. so that the 10Base2 and 10Base5 standards are only described in the "History" section

Most of all, 1000 pages without water and dead technologies.

It's not very clear from the question what exactly you need. Networks, IP and ethernet? What level are you interested in? On networks, there is a very decent series of articles on Habré, "Networks for the smallest."
