Pycharm for serious projects, code for handwriting and scripts. Both are cross platform. As an ide, paycharm is the best there is. As a multitool for any resources, including access to the database, yml, any other shit and little things vscode with its plugins. Some people like to code in vskod in principle. If you have a very old laptop with two or three gigs of memory, and in principle there is no need to poke around in projects on HKK lines, then this is the way out. But if not, then no one has yet repeated the idea intelligence, code navigation, generation and auto-refactoring. And paycharm is an idea for a python.
Just not Eclipse in 2019, what do you mean.
