There is a lot of information on the Internet on writing your own API in PHP, but basically it is some general information, general rules without any specific examples. Are there any articles with real code, simple examples on which you can start writing your API correctly (will be used both for the site and for mobile applications)? Share links. Or perhaps your own examples.

Read videos on YouTube from conferences. They often speak and speak.
And yes, look at the API of existing systems: Yandex Maps, Google, VKontakte, Facebook. And don't bring up anything new.
