What are some good books and materials on designing interfaces and websites?
I want to delve into the topic of usability, UX and everything related. I look forward to your recommendations of books, video tutorials, articles, etc. on this topic. I only know about the book "Psychiatric hospital in the hands of patients", I plan to read it.
First of all, we are interested in information regarding websites, web and mobile applications.

For example:
1. Alan Cooper "On the interface. Fundamentals of interaction design"
2. Jess Garrett "Elements of the user experience"
3. Bill Scott, Teresa Neil "Web interface design". O'REILLY Publishing
4. Steve Krug "Don't make me think!"
5. "designing, web usability, the practice of simplicity" Jakob Nielsen
...etc.
+ read books on advertising. If you want to engage in design, then you must have a good understanding of the market, not only development, but also advertising.
In addition to the already mentioned, be sure to
Jeff Raskin "Interface: new directions in computer systems design."

Compiled a list of books on design and usability www.usability.by/books
I would put Jacob Nielsen's book on a par with Cooper's "Psychiatric Hospital":
Books by Jacob Nielsen on books.ru
I personally read and re-read some early edition of Jacob Nielsen's Web Design, almost 1997, in general it is still relevant.
It's also good to subscribe to his alertbox mailing list or browse through the archive - each issue is dedicated to a narrow specific topic.
