What are applications for media players written in?

Hello. Guys, what do applications for media players write on? I'm specifically interested in Dune-HD, but of course information about other players will not be superfluous. It seems to support Flash Lite, but there is no information on writing. Who can help?

Not so long ago DuneHD started supporting HTML+JavaScript applications. Our team made the first one for vidimax.

Their (dune) flash API seems to be closed, but it seems like you can google it somewhere.
Here is a brief information on the Flash API dune-hd.com/firmware/flash/flashlite_info.txt
And, accordingly, their PHP API dune-hd.com/support/misc/media_url.txt
Judging by the abundance of third-party PHP plugins, "parse" any of them and "collect" it for yourself is quite simple.
