What applications for programming under ubuntu do you recommend?

Hello! I am developing websites, programming in Delphi, C languages. And I plan to do android. Now I do all this on Windows, but I feel that I will soon have to leave it.
I tried to switch to Ubuntu several times, but I was frightened by the search for new applications that were not familiar to me. Tell me, please, what code editor can you recommend? And is it possible to write applications for Windows from Ubuntu? How to check them?

And is it possible to write applications for Windows from Ubuntu?

Everything is possible, of course, but it even sounds crooked.
For Java, there is JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA.
For PhpStorm/WebStorm sites the same JetBrains.

For android, of course, eclipse, there is even a special assembly along with the SDK from Google, and the program is cross-platform.
For php, I recommend NetBeans, also a cross-platform IDE.
You can develop programs for Windows, but why do it on Linux? If you write cross-platform, then mono recommend Qt. Code written under Qt can be compiled even for a poppy, even for Windows or an android (there are moments, but in general it’s like this)
