Ubuntu 18.04: wait or upgrade?

I can't wait until 18.04 LTS comes out to demolish Windows and install it. I thought it would come out today (where I read the info about 04/26), but it didn't. Questions:
1) If you install 17.10 already, and then upgrade when it comes out the other day, will it not leave a lot of garbage from the previous version? And maybe some strange glitches may appear in contrast to a "clean" installation?
2) If I download the daily build, can I then upgrade to the release easily and without artifacts?
3) Or to score on everything and wait when it comes out?
Which of the three options is preferable?

@l4m3r

I've had 18.04 for 4 months now and almost everything works.
1) But at some point there was a very fun driver update for nvidia. A week until the packages were fixed, nothing worked.
2) A bunch of packages are updated every day. Constantly updated gcc, kernels and iks. Not only do they take a long time to install, but each such update potentially leads to a system crash.
3) I have several self-built applications. They sometimes have to be rebuilt due to changes in library versions.
So if you want everything beautifully and without problems, wait for 18.04.1 (August at best) or install the previous LTS. It will be supported for a long time.
