Recently (a couple of days) and on a working computer, and on a home laptop (everywhere win8.1) I see the message "This application does not allow you to turn off / restart your computer." Moreover, the application icon is not visible, there is no name. It is clear that this is some kind of hidden process.

The situation occurs even if you do not run any extraneous applications. Those. I turn on the computer, I wait for windows to fully load with all applications in autorun (Skype, Shmaip, etc.), I try to restart - I see this.

The question, in fact, is the following: how to understand what kind of process this is? At least just to find his whereabouts!

Look at the process in the task manager.
Nailed the problem, tried reboot.
AVZ has a more convenient process manager, or try any specialized one.
Maybe the application is not running from your account at all through the scheduler ...
