I have such a question, my friend does not have a very powerful PC and recently he picked up the "Installer of all kinds of garbage", of course it was deleted, but now he is worried and wants to install some kind of antivirus for himself so that this would not happen again, I personally do not use it antivirus in principle, I don’t need it, and therefore I don’t understand absolutely anything about it now.

I need your expert opinion on the information:
- Which free antivirus should I use for this (preferably not demanding)?
- Is it worth using an antivirus at all, or is it better to turn on the standard Windows Defender (he has 10ka)?

* don't install broken versions of
