What amplifier to build?

Good day. Please advise an amplifier circuit for two speakers from a Japanese tape recorder.
Speakers YD100-11 3-5W 4Ohm.
I have never dealt with amplifiers, but there is a desire to assemble something beautiful and sounding tube, I am also interested in amplification on transistors.
Where is the best place to start? There are also a couple of transformers lying around, I thought to use them, but unfortunately their characteristics are not known yet. I'll try to do this in the near future.

U1 = 25.0 V I1 = 0.25 A
U2 = 8.5 V I2 = 1.6 A
