What account should I have for my child?

I gave my child an Android tablet. Luckily they are cheap now. For ease of use, the tablet must be linked to a google account. Options:

  1. Using your account is not good for obvious reasons.
  2. Create an honest account for a child - Google does not allow this for minors (and they can be understood - only adults can buy applications through the market)
  3. Starting an additional left account seems to be also a violation, because. Google requires honest personification.

How do you do/what do you recommend?

Do step 3. In the Play Store settings on the device (Play Store - Menu - Content Filtering), set the desired settings. Set a PIN (ibid.) so that the child cannot change the filtering.

I faced a similar problem (Google deleted an account from a 10-year-old son due to minority).
As a result, I went according to the option "item 3"

As far as I understand, the tablet can work without a Google account

I don’t see the problem of creating an account for a child with the wrong date of birth, and over time, just fix it

We did it simply: we chose item number three.
Along the way, this allows you to monitor what the child has installed there.

I wonder what Google itself thinks about this? It is unlikely that their policy "Tablets can not be used under the age of 18"

Option 1 + pin code for credit card payment.

I'm being dishonest ;)

On Android 4, you can still create an account without specifying a date of birth. This is the most honest
