What about bit.ly?

Today I noticed that links shortened using bit.ly stopped working. I tried googling and couldn't find any information about the problem. Does anyone know if this shop was closed and the service of short links needs to be changed? Or is it some kind of temporary glitch? Or maybe it's some kind of coercion to switch to paid accounts?...
