If there is already a working project on MODx, then you should not transfer it. Because the transfer will be almost equivalent to creating a site from scratch.
PS I worked in both systems and I don't see any objective reason to change the engine of an already working site.

Basically simple. Import/export of CSV base of goods. Setting up similar CNCs in the system. Uploaded pictures and happy.

I support. Via import/export. For one site, I wrote a catalog download from xml (base 1c). You can also unload from modx a directory in a readable format for bitrix.
But the same reasonable question: why? Works - do not touch!

It's strange, all reasonable developers, on the contrary, get off Bitrix to Modix, but here it's the other way around.

Something like this (jquery, for one line, the code has not been tested):

<a id="big-up" onclick="$(this).prop('disabled', true); $('#big-down').prop('disabled', false)'">
