Website testing on iphone

Now I am in charge of developing a website for iphone.
The question is how can you test the site? Testing on the iPhone itself is convenient, but something like firebug is missing. Perhaps there are some emulators or something like that? Because testing on a mac in xcode is a bit perverse :(

Firebug is built into Safari.
Connect your iPhone to your Mac, and you'll be able to select iPhone from the Safari menu on your Mac's Development menu.
