I want to create an online store, I work on wordpress. Directory: 2000+, daily traffic 500+. And is it possible to make a full-fledged online store on WP?

WooCommerce is a complete store.
By load goods the same records. Our client has a culinary site, 30k+ visits on a dedicated server. On regular Machost hosting , 1500-2000 visits with 2500+ articles keeps normally, with WP Super Cache. There are sites and 5-7k per day, but there are up to 1000 publications.

How much load the site can withstand depends on which tariff plan and which hosting provider you choose.
For a catalog of 50-100+, I would seriously think about special solutions like OpenCart, magento, or something else .. And if you also have different delivery and payment methods, then even more specialized cms will be more appropriate than Wordpress + WooCommerce .
You can do it, in the end even write it yourself, and without WooCommerce (for example, shop.farminapetfoods.ru) but why? If it's just because "I know Wordpress", then for a project like this, it's time to think about "it's time to learn something new!".

This will very much depend on the host. up to 10k goods keeps normally on a regular host with caching. For reliability it is possible the virtual server.
