Website of a sports club based on a social network (G+, FB, VK)

There is a desire to create a mini-site of our volleyball club, including publications about new events, as well as a growing archive of photo and video materials. In order not to reinvent the wheel, I want to implement my plans within the framework of one of the social networks: Google+, Facebook or VKontakte. I will make a reservation right away that almost all of our contingent of different ages is not registered in any of these networks. Therefore, the priority of choosing according to the principle “where the majority is already registered” disappears.

What would you like to have:

  • unlimited archive size for photos with sufficient resolution (and possibly video),
  • the ability to have publications visible (available) only to a certain group of people,
  • the ability to insert tables into publications,
  • static pages, or alternatively pinned to the top of the post.

Of the three social networks above, I only have an account in G+. In addition, a domain has been registered, and a test page has been created in G+ for Apps, to which you can redirect from a domain name.

Based on my little experience of using G+, I can say that most of the “Wishlists” are solved one way or another: 2048-pixel photos are stored in unlimited quantities, through circles you can restrict access to individual publications (although then you will have to register with gmail to gain access ). Tables can be used through Google documents (again, controlling access). There are no statics and attached posts, as well as a “beautiful” URL, although the latter is solved by a redirect, as I said above.

As a complete ignoramus in FB and VK, I want to ask what advantages these social services can give if you host a site with them. I just don't really know their capabilities. Perhaps your advice will convince me to make a website based on one of these two social networks. Thanks in advance for all the advice.

VK is trite, FB and G + immediately have such disadvantages as
1) not the most familiar navigation and usability for beginners (especially considering that, due to the subject matter, people who previously used only VK can visit the page)
2) as you already they said that those who want to see something a little more than info and photos will have to register.
Registration in G +, again, for beginners may not be the easiest, not to mention the fact that you have to go to other google services from one account.
Therefore, it is easiest to make a simple but complete website on a free CMS. Then for a third-party visitor, it will be perceived precisely as a site from which you do not need to go anywhere and register once again.

The maximum size of unlimitedly stored photos in Google Plus is 2048, and VKontakte is only 1280.

A closed VKontakte group, an unlimited number of albums and videos, there is a choice in quality, publications using pages, the creation of which with wiki markup allows you to insert any interactive, tables ... As for a beautiful URL, you can choose a name for the group that is readable.
