Good afternoon, have you used the intro video on your sites? Is it efficient? Can you recommend any studios that do them?

@Sterhel

Is it efficient?
Looking for what. If you make a heavy video, and even without the ability to skip it (Skip intro), then you will lose some users, not everyone is interested in waiting until something is loaded there.

the main thing is not to make the video forced (otherwise the user will leave your site without getting to it).
Using a video on the main page adds prestige to the site. the pleasure is not cheap, but this applies to any fentiklyukshki
The more expensive, the more karma the site has.
And the reverse side of the coin: cheap and crookedly inserted. only reduce karma

Depends on the direction of the site. If it's an art portfolio or something, then yes. And if the news resource is absolutely not necessary.

I usually skip videos and return to them only if the site interests me. If there is no way to skip, I leave the site. The video should be really needed by the site, most often it is some kind of service, and not just an informational site. The video should not be shown to me more than once (every time I visit the site).
Well, as Lebedev said, “you give each search engine a splash screen!” :)))

For a designer’s website or a very large creative company, it’s possible, but it’s not suitable for news sites, and even then the video is no more than 1 mb.
