DLE is very template and simple, all its changes can be integrated with the template in less than a day. 2 years ago I wanted to change DLE, I tried LiveStreet, Drupal and WordPress and realized that my project adapted to DLE, ordered several modules that were tailored to the requirements and are transferred regardless of the version. As a result, even after updating the CMS, you do not have to make any special changes.
Also take into account the issue of load, familiarity for yourself, DLE with my settings showed the best results at high loads. Although, maybe it's just that I was so lucky or I tuned other engines so crookedly.

DLE is also a paid engine, it's a pity not everyone knows about it.

The latest versions of DLE are not difficult to update. In addition, in terms of costs, this is one of the cheapest options. For a trouble-free update, I recommend Bitrix, but with the money saved on buying a Bitrix license and hosting for it, you can update DLE for a couple of years, or order a unique template a couple of times.
