I also have a Logitech C525. And I installed Windows 8 the other day. I'll come home, try it and unsubscribe or there is such a problem, then it will already be clear whether it's just your problem or is it a common one.

The camera was connected via the USB port of the monitor, and everything was fine in Windows 7, and after switching to Windows 8, Skype stopped seeing it every time I called the interlocutor, I had to pull out the USB cable every time and reconnect it. But after connecting the camera directly to the computer, everything worked fine.
