Web development: Java or Python in conjunction with C++?

Which is better suited for web applications: Python in conjunction with C ++, in which critical components are written, or Java? Maybe someone has some ideas (or even experience) about reliability, performance, maintainability and feasibility in practice?
UPD. p.s. Why is one better than the other?

For web-applications, it is better without links to C++.

Let's do it this way:
Java - work either in fintech companies or in huge companies that make software for telecom, government, logistics companies on order.
Python is either small startups working with data and automation (such as auto-posting on social networks, etc.), or large custom companies like Yandex, Rambler, Mail.ru, etc.
Well, then decide for yourself what is closer to you.

Well, with C ++ you at least realize that in this programming language without boost it is generally problematic to work with the Internet :)
And depending on what application you want to make :)
I would suggest python + php :)
