Web design & animation?

I'm a web designer and have been drawing websites for a long time, but I only work in 2D. All the time when I need to use animation in a project, I draw elements statically and explain to the layout designer how it should work. This limits me a lot - everything is limited to very standard solutions such as construction, rotations, etc. How can I, as a web designer, speed up and make life easier for a coder? Are there any programs or anything else to create web animations for the site, or do I have to learn js?

I've been drawing websites for a long time.

What are you lying about for a long time then? Who has been working for a long time does not ask such a question, and does not call the development of sites "drawing".

After Effects, and for simple animations Axure RP will do, it has a lot of simple but customizable presets
