Wanted three-axis USB gyroscope / accelerometer in the form factor of a flash drive (+)

I want to make a feature of automatic image rotation on a stationary monitor when switching from landscape to portrait orientation and vice versa. The obvious solution is a gyroscope. Many monitors have USB ports, so ideally I would like to find a device with a USB interface and in a flash drive form factor. A three-axis gyroscope is needed because the location of the USB ports is different everywhere.

I am more interested in the software part in this project, and I would like to take the hardware ready or find like-minded people who would be interested in working on the hardware part. So far, the search has yielded no results.

I've never worked with iron, but I'll probably be able to make a prototype on a constructor like Arduino. But how to move beyond the prototype? I'm afraid my knowledge will not be enough for a long time to design such a device from scratch.

Upd. In the comments, they pointed out to me a mistake - an accelerometer is needed here, not a gyroscope. A USB accelerometer in the form of a ready-made device is much easier to find ( for example ). Here's what it looks like.

Of course, I would like a USB A male connector, not Mini-B female, but you can put up with it. Dimensions: 20x40mm.

You don't need a gyroscope, but an accelerometer. The gyroscope is capable of measuring angular speeds, which is inconvenient because you have to take readings from the device quite often so as not to miss the moment of rotation, and do not forget about the vibration of the support, which makes the data unclear.
In the case of an accelerometer, you can take readings very rarely and the values \u200b\u200bwill be very obvious - the acceleration of gravity on one of the axes.
My colleague and I made a device that used both a gyroscope and an accelerometer. There was msp430 as MK and cp2102 as usb.

This technology is already implemented in some models of displays from LG.
