There is "Sleep", there is "Hibernation".
From "Sleep" is displayed by pressing any key on the keyboard or moving the mouse.
From "Hibernation" - only with the Power button on the case, or with the Mouse / Keyboard, if the BIOS is configured to turn on the computer with the Mouse / Keyboard.
