W3schools bad?

Why is w3schools considered bad for learning technology (many friends do not advise), although it is at the top in Google results?

Looking what technologies. The same js is better described on mdn , IMHO.
And yes, w3schools and mdn are more of a guide than a tutorial. It’s convenient to look into it like a cheat sheet, but at the very beginning, while there is still no basic knowledge, it’s hard to read them.

As far as I know, at w3schools this is a "underresource" on which there is either little information or it contains errors. In any case, MDN is 100 times better.
Use this simple rule, when searching on Google, write the mdn prefix. For example: "mdn css opacity" and everything will be great.
