Vlan and shared folder on the server?

Good afternoon.
Please tell me if it is possible to make such an idea:
Now the network is completely flat. The IP is given by the DHCP server. In the organization on one server there are folders where different departments have access.
Is it possible by moving departments to different VLANs (192.168.2.0 192.168.3.0, etc.) to leave access to the shared folder, which will be in another VLAN?

@susnake

It is possible, for this you need routing between VLANs to work, access restrictions are made using ACL sheets.
