VK-API - how to access pictures of community posts?

I want to watch beautiful and funny pictures, gifs, videos, but I don’t want to go to the site itself, so I would like to write a script that will download media content from the specified communities. Can you tell me the VK-API methods with which you can achieve what you want? Maybe there is a code example (in any PL) that does something similar? Thank you.

There are a lot of libraries for VK on github
