Visual Studio manual reload with open projects/solutions?
Hello.
Windows 8.1., Visual Studio Professional 2017
Sometimes I try to install various plugins for VS, but they require a restart of VS (like, installing a plugin requires a restart of VS) Very inconvenient when several projects / solutions are open. You have to "restore" them.
There are a couple of plugins that only reopen the current project/solution, not the entire VS.
However, I noticed that if the VS update from Microsoft is installed (with a version upgrade), then it will automatically close all projects and automatically open them. I like this solution.
Isn't there a way to manually reload VS, but have it save and restore open projects on its own, as is done with a version upgrade?
