Visual Studio for a weak PC - which one to choose?
Hello!
I downloaded Visual Studio 2015 from the official Microsoft website, I wanted to install it.
It was a little before the end of the installation - an error came up installing the XAML Diagnost
component
. I have a weak PC (I use Windows 7) and please tell me which version is better to choose for such PCs?
Thank you!

I am using studio 2008. There is everything you need and does not slow down on an ancient beech.
Visual Studio is a serious harvester, it eats a lot of resources.
In theory, older versions may have less appetite, but they are less useful.
For educational purposes, Visual Studio Code may be suitable - run all sorts of Hello World's.
For serious projects, we need Visual Studio, but it also needs more powerful hardware.
Jetbrains is writing its own IDE for C# - the project is now called Raider. It has not been completed yet, but you can take an experimental version and try to drive it.
I can be wrong, but VS 2015 is not installed on 7-ku (the minimum requirement is 8 and above, because the c # 6-7 version of VS2015, win7 does not support the c # 6-7 version).
ps I made this conclusion after I wanted to install myself. So either 2012 or 2013 version.
p.s.s. I also support the opinion about Visual Studio Code (easier)
psss. to the extreme - Visual Studio Express (2013)
p.s.s.s.s. .Net framework 4.5 (minimum 4) - must be installed
