Visual Studio 2013 constantly freezes and crashes. What should I do?

Well, Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate crashes very often. It can hang at any time, even when the studio is minimized. Every 2-3 minutes, and sometimes more often, it freezes tightly, you have to cut it out through the task manager.
At first I thought that there was not enough RAM, but then I looked in the task manager - there are no leaks, and the processor does not load either, there are not even sharp increases in CPU loads.
Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate downloaded from off site (with all updates)
Windows 8.1, 32bit, with all updates (drivers, directx, .net framework)
4Gb RAM
AMD Athlon II 630, X4, 2.8GH
For example, Intellij IDEA which is approximately similar in requirements to resources - works perfect

1. Check the free space on the "C:" drive
2. Try checking the permissions on the Program files/Visual Studio folder.
3. Look for the answer here: Start - Run - eventvwr - "Enter"
4. Run the installation of Visual Studio and select "Fix"...
