Encrypted files remain, but, of course, they are all dead weight due to inaccessibility.
Is it possible to decrypt files?
There is no way to buy a key from hackers - time passed and the system was rearranged. Plus, there was no particular desire to pay for it either.
Well, there is another question: if a USB flash drive was connected during infection, can the files there also be infected?
There are a couple of files on the flash drive, the virus did not affect them, but there is no certainty that if you start using the flash drive, they are not in hidden files.
I don’t want to transfer files from a USB flash drive to a computer and format it either - you never know what with those files. Antiviruses are silent, showing that everything seems to be fine.

First you need to know what kind of virus your data suffered from. And you did not provide such information, except for the description that he encrypted the files. Therefore, we can say that, with a high degree of probability, the ability to decrypt files is missing.

if you face the truth: the composition of the password (letters / numbers / ..), its length, the number of encryption iterations are unknown. If the virus writers are not idiots, then you can use brute force for thousands of years.
