I was interested in this topic, I want to try to write a simple hyperdriver without getting stoned by the Intel manual.
You need a book that explains everything.
There is no knowledge on virtualization yet.

Why smoke? We went into bios, turned on virtualization, installed some kind of hypervisor a la xen, or just virtualization software that uses hardware virtualization, a la kvm and enjoy life.
Or did I misunderstand the question?
