Very strange problems with Nexus 4

Hello!

Recently, an interesting and annoying bug was discovered in my Nexus.
He began to sometimes go into a somewhat strange silent mode. Media, alarm clock, speaker in a conversation work, all notification sounds do not. He leaves for no apparent reason, like even at different times of the day.
When you reboot everything becomes normal again, until the next time.
There is no indication that the phone has switched to any particular mode. If you go into the settings while the phone is in this mode and try to look at the sound, you will see this picture.

And if we pull the corresponding slider, then this:

At the same time, if we now close the window and open it again, we will see the first one again.

I have no idea at all what is the reason why this happens so randomly. In adb, I noticed that if the phone is in this mode, then a line appears when entering the settings screen, which otherwise does not appear:

audio_hw_primary: out_set_parameters: exit: code(1)

In general, any ideas are welcome. I already did a hard reset, it did not help. Nobody faced?

Once upon a time on my old LG O1 2.3.3 with Cyanogen firmware there was a similar "glitch". It turned out that the so-called “quiet hours” were specified in the settings - the phone switches itself to a different sound profile depending on the current time. Moreover, after switching to this profile, the phone did not respond to manual volume changes until you return to normal mode.
Although the hardress should drop this chip. Look in your sound profiles for the "quiet hours" feature.

Do you have Android 4.3? Stock?
You should not ask about some third-party software, because a hard reset was made?
Does the problem reproduce without a connected g-account?
