VBulletin vs IPB or how to host a forum on their clouds?

The site vBellutin and IPB have a service - cloud, for a monthly fee, a licensed forum is ordered for their equipment. I have 3 questions:
1) Which is better, IPB or vBulletin.
2) Is there protection against massive DDoS attacks on their "cloud"?
3) Is it possible to glue your domain to such a cloud?

If we are talking about good forum engines, then I recommend looking at XenForo. There, two main developers with vb were dumped and it was opened. https://xenforo.com/www.xf-russia.ru _
