Using material design in a Wordpress template: how and why?

Actually, the whole question is this: is it possible and how can you painlessly fasten material design elements to the standard Wordpress template? And if this is not possible and not necessary, then explain why?

To be honest, I don't see a problem.
You can create a child theme of the standard or any other theme of the VI and include material design.
You can create your own VP theme and attach material design. Here, your imagination and possibilities are free
