User authorization library on Symfony HttpFoundation Component?

Does anyone know if there is a library for authorizing users using the Symfony HttpFondation Component?
PS Symfony Security Component is not suitable as it is too huge.

I would still recommend Security Component and JMSSecurityExtra bundle.
Security in Symfony2 is difficult to begin with, of course, but implementing it all yourself will be even more cumbersome. And there are no other well-known libraries for this task, as far as I know.
