Quite a long time ago free registration of 2nd level domains (.tk .ga. gq and others) was opened. There are quite a few rumors about them. Someone uses them, there are no nitpicks from the registrar or PS to them?
For my small projects I use 3rd level domains, but here you can find good 2nd level domains and names.
