USB flash drives

USB "flash drive" is not formatted, what to do?

Did some time ago dd if=file.iso of=/dev/myflash drive and forgot.
When it came time to use it again, I got the inability to do anything with it. Neither dd, cfdisk, fdisk, parted - gparted were taken to work with it. Read-only file system and that's it.
In fact, it turned out that dd turned it into ISO9660, that is, the flash drive turned into a CD-ROM. And that's it) Google said that's it.
Neither hdparm -r0 nor the above all helped.
What to do? Throwing away a 16GB glowing, beautiful girlfriend?

@take

found out the manufacturer.
In my case it turned out to be Silicon Motion (ADATA) Downloaded the
Silicon Motion Tool for low-level operations. That's the only way it helped. Girlfriend is on the move again.
I took it here:
flashboot.ru/files/smi
I write in this way, because nowhere is it clearly indicated what to do. But there is only one hint - low-level utilities from the manufacturer.
Does anyone have other solutions?

I will write a separate answer so that those who come here later do not get into a puddle.
To be sure, more information about the flash drive was needed before using the vendor tools, but most likely the approach you used was the only option.
You can use it, but it is extremely important to remember that it only helps to revive the flash drive as a device for further use.
If you need to recover data from a flash drive, then you should never use the manufacturer's utilities! After them, even professionals will not be able to restore anything.
