USB Camera Driver

Good afternoon!

In general, I have a USB webcam, which, in addition to the usual RGB sensor, also has an infrared camera and a stereo microphone on board. But there is more than one problem, the software from the manufacturer is very crooked and there is no driver for Linux at all. I would like to write my own simple driver that would be able to rob the current frame from the RGB camera and its corresponding frame from the infrared camera from the camera. In theory, the protocol is sniffed through Device Monitor and I get a long log of software communication from the camera manufacturer with the camera itself. Here the question arises, googling did not give any useful information on how you can decrypt this log and bring it to the form from which you can already write a driver ... can someone advise good mana for reverse engineering the USB protocol?
