Ubuntu 14.04 USB mouse not working, what's the problem?

Wired usb mouse stopped working on my laptop.
System - ubuntu 14.04
The mouse itself - Logitech G600
The mouse itself worked, but stopped today.
lsusb doesn't show anything, i.e. the mouse itself is not visible.
On Windows on the same laptop - everything works.
Today I tried to install updates on ubuntu only after the mouse stopped working. Those. I don't see any reason why it broke.
Does anyone have any suggestions what could be the issue? I myself conclude that the problems with usb ports.
At the same time, the light bulb powered by usb works. Those. The ports themselves should seem to work, especially considering that everything works correctly on Windows.
