Upwork doesn't need Android-only developers?

At work, I performed rough revisions on finishing and debugging Asp.net WebFrom, layout, admin panel for adding records. Recently received an order for applications for Android. There was no mentor in the mobile, thanks to the docks, the application was made in 4 months (including the study). But as a student, they pay very little, about 7 thousand for 40 hours. I decided to try freelancing at the same time and was glad that writing applications was in demand abroad (with my involvement, of course), but when I monitored orders for two days, I realized that developers were mainly needed immediately for iOs and Android. Can they choose multiple developers for different platforms, or are they really looking for a man-orchestra?
Is this really the case with freelancing?
Does it make sense to spend connections on such ads?
Plus, I want to ask for advice regarding my cool story about work: this is a normal situation for a non-capital, if I have been receiving such pennies for 7 months already (not officially issued). In the company, only I work with mobile. Is it worth dropping?

On the one hand, this is very good, since you are still a student. Big money they tend to kill initiative at a young age, I think. There is a personal experience when people at the age of 20 suddenly immediately began to receive a lot (moreover, for not the most difficult work) and believed that everything was already there, there was no need to try themselves in other areas or be interested in them, as a result, after a year or two they completely got out of market for too narrow views. So don’t be upset, your salary is really very small, so that you understand, I can make two simple websites on CMS in a week, spending somewhere 3-4 hours a day on them and for each I can get from 4-5 thousand rubles . Although I am a student just like you.

Learning one system is hard, but writing code for two OSes in native languages at once... I think it's worth choosing one and digging, making your projects and applications in parallel. Look towards games and their writing...
